The Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois is now offering an expanded scope of podiatric services to residents in Moultrie County. According to Dr. John Sigle, founder of the Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois, "The patient population in the Sullivan area has outgrown the current clinic space. In an effort to provide a higher quality service, we felt it was time to leave the HSHS Fields Wright Building and channel patients to our other clinics located in Shelbyville and Decatur. The Facilities at the HSHS Good Shepherd Clinic and HSHS St. Mary's clinic are far more superior to accommodate a wider range of services. They also provide access to advanced diagnostic imaging and surgical facilities. Instead of limiting our services in Sullivan to one Friday a month, patients may now be seen every Wednesday in Shelbyville, or in Decatur any day of the week. While this change of location may be less convenient, we believe patients will benefit immensely from increased access and better care."
