Zachary Janes is a board-certified podiatrist that recently joined the Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois in Decatur & Shelbyville. He is part of the wound care panel at Decatur Memorial Health Center.
After receiving his degree, Dr. Janes completed his three-year Foot and Ankle Surgical residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL; followed by his fellowship at Foot and Ankle Institute in Indianapolis, IN.
He is a member of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Janes was a four-year varsity collegiate swimmer at Kalamazoo College and especially enjoys treating athletes and sports injuries.
His other specialties and interests also include bunion and hammertoe correction, ankle pain, foot and ankle fracture repair, nerve decompression, reconstructive surgery, as well as general podiatric care.
